The Odd GOP Connections of a Wildly Unsuccessful Attorney (Photos & Videos)
A timeline of GOP big-names in the world of Pierce Bainbridge attorney John M. Pierce, which also includes Pierce’s client Democrat Tulsi Gabbard who sued Hillary Clinton.
(Note: Make sure not to miss the screen shot of Atlanta attorney Lin Wood pulling a Rudy Giuliani and inadvertently sending a text meant for his client Marjorie Taylor Green to Charles Bethea, a reporter with the New Yorker.)
John M. Pierce founded Pierce Bainbridge in January 2017. The litigation specialized firm is on its fourth name in four years, yet has only won one trial with a net verdict of $500,000. Pierce’s firms have filed a slew of lawsuits that have returned $0.00. Yet, despite this remarkably underwhelming track record, an entity that funds litigation efforts poured tens of millions of capital into Pierce’s firm; the funder, Virage Capital Management, says it is owed “no less than $59 million.”
On top of this oddity, are the big GOP names, as well as former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, that have hitched their wagons to John Pierce.
A simple timeline, followed by two short videos, illustrate the bizarre nature of the situation. As a quick primer, as captured in a heavily sourced Daily Mail article, Pierce has massive personal and professional debt, substance abuse problems, issues with physical violence, domestic violence restraining orders, had a stint in a UCLA psychiatric facility, and reportedly threatened to kill the mother of his three children.
Why would Virage Capital put tens of millions behind John Pierce? Why would all these big names hitch their wagons to him?
