Lin Wood Takes Aim at Chief Justice Roberts & Vice President Pence
Was I Target Practice? Would Momma Lew Be Proud?

Atlanta attorney Lin Wood has been on a take no prisoners tear. The man is on a mission. Is he crazy? Ahead of the curve? Setting up for the mega-grift? Whatever it is, it’s not normal. Wood has been taking shots far and wide and some pretty big names have been in his mouth. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, Vice President Mike Pence; as it turns out, a few months back Attorney Wood had another name in his mouth, Don Lewis.
Not the Don Lewis who Carol Baskin may or may not have fed to a Tiger, but just the one who was railroaded by John Pierce and his former ethically-challenged Pierce Bainbridge partners — that Don Lewis would be me.
To give a quick rundown, Pierce ran me out of his firm after I expressed concerns about his financial foul play. This was back in 2018. The people who supported John Pierce — current fundraiser for Kyle Rittenhouse — a guy accused of threatening to kill his ex-wife, included, among others:
David L. Hecht (Hecht Partners). Hecht’s own clients recently said under oath that Hecht deceived them into signing up with his firm. A screenshot covering this and other issues, perhaps sheds light on Hecht’s integrity. Links to the actual court filings are in the photo caption.

Carolynn K. Beck (Goldstein & McClintock). Beck, as the Pierce Bainbridge General Counsel, apparently took no publicly known steps to get Pierce, or the corrupt firm, in line. Documents strongly suggest Beck knew Pierce was raiding firm accounts way back in 2018. Beck is also accused of suborning perjury and spearheading a fraud on the court. We are unaware of Beck ever addressing these accusations, a sanctions motion is pending. (This short piece provides more on Carolynn K. Beck.)

Denver G. Edwards (Bradford Edwards & Varlack). Edwards lied under oath to smear me and carry John Pierce’s water. I have claims for racial discrimination. I never met Edwards, he started at the firm after I was booted. Edwards was chosen to “handle” my case for obvious reasons. Do Black Lives Matter to Black Attorneys? Edwards is, in my book, a shameful sell out. Denver also said my allegations “if true, would amount to criminal activity.” Over a year later, former long-time Pierce Bainbridge attorneys have said I was “spot on” and “100% correct.”

Christopher N. LaVigne (Withers Bergman). I have known Chris for years. He also lied under oath to carry John Pierce’s water and screw me over. He sold me out and lied for a guy like John Pierce. Draw your own conclusions about Christopher.

As for Lin Wood, while, as illustrated in the cover tweet, he took up for Pierce in September, Wood seems to have moved on. Funny thing, Wood talks about “an agenda” in that same tweet, as a good buddy asked: “Doesn’t everybody associated with anything have an agenda?”
In any event, as for David L. Hecht, Carolynn K. Beck, Denver G. Edwards, Christopher N. LaVigne and others, they rode with John Pierce longer than most, and pretty much none of them left until the money had dried up and a bunch of lawyers had already quit.
Pierce recently tossed them under the bus, his comments are covered in a “Seal Team of Hacks?” Essentially, Pierce faced a little adversity, folded like a petulant boy who, in his own words, “never grew up,” and placed blame on others. Lots of tough keyboarding from Pierce, lots more juvenile behavior.
So, yeah, that guy, the guy they took up for?
Read this article and watch the 2-minute video below — a creative slice of genius by Jennifer Sulkess. Lies under oath, other transgressions, screwing over a buddy in LaVigne’s case, for *this* guy. And we can’t forget Virage Capital Management, the litigation funder who sunk $65 million in capital into Pierce’s corrupt firm, and then went on to fund spin-off firm Hecht Partners, where all of the partners were partners at Pierce Bainbridge.
As for Lin Wood, the man is something. And, as it turns out, what perhaps may be viewed as his “batshit crazy,” just carved “Little Donnie Lewis” out a sliver of history.
I mean, I can forever say that I was a warm-up before “The Great Lin Wood” — as deadbeat Pierce refers to him — targeted the likes of a United States Supreme Court Chief Justice and a Vice President of the United States.
And I can say with a good degree of certainty that Momma Lew would indeed be proud.
Happy New Year.
Work hard.
Succeed.
