Almost two years ago I blew the whistle on financial misdeeds at Pierce Bainbridge Beck Price & Hecht LLP, a law firm hired by Rudy Giuliani. I said the firm was a “house of cards,” “robbing Peter to pay Paul” and would “collapse.” A former long-time firm attorney recently said: “You called this 100% correctly.”
According to the Daily Beast, Pierce Bainbridge founder “[John] Pierce and the once-prominent firm he founded are mired in millions of dollars of debt, while a payday-lender-style loan to cover his own expenses prompted him to take a leave of absence.”
Video of the police investigation into Kyle Rittenhouse at a bar shortly after his arraignment is now available. A whirlwind of chaos seems to have immersed the Kenosha shooter since the unfortunate events in late August. The first two attorneys to hit the scene for Rittenhouse were Lin Wood and John Pierce. Neither remains on Team Rittenhouse, both continue to be embroiled in controversy.
Among other items, a Twitter account reportedly connected to the Rittenhouse Family has raised concerns about financial and honesty issues related to legal representation and donations. For more on this issue, including screenshots of the social media posts, check out Sunlight-Reports.com.
“In the eye of the law, there is in this country no superior, dominant, ruling class of citizens. There is no caste here. Our constitution is colorblind, and neither knows nor tolerates classes among citizens.” ~ Dissenting opinion of United States Supreme Court Justice Marshal Harlan in Plessy v. Ferguson, 1896.

The events surrounding January 6th, and the subsequent impeachment “trial,” are a stark reminder that racial double standards persist in our country. Politics aside, intellectual honesty dictates that if a black President, and a black mob of his followers, engaged in such conduct, consequences would have been vastly…
Pierce Bainbridge Beck Price & Hecht LLP was hired by Rudy Giuliani, Tulsi Gabbard, Carter Page, Michael Avenatti, Russian Oligarch Sergey Grishin, Lenny Dykstra and Rodney Dangerfield’s wife, received tens of millions in dollars in financial backing, yet was a colossal failure; accusations of corruption, lack of ethics, dishonesty, and financial malfeasance abound. Litigation funder Virage Capital Management and spin-off law firm Hecht Partners LLP are part of the Pierce Bainbridge picture. Pierce’s solo representation of Kyle Rittenhouse, as well as his aberrant behavior, are also noteworthy.

The impeachment presentations today concerning Mike Pence have been chilling. Attorney John Pierce is a Trump supporter and piled on in the hours after the Capitol Insurrection. The tweets captured in the cover photo speak for themselves. One would reasonably find such rhetoric from an officer of the court to be unusual, but in Pierce’s case it is perhaps unsurprising.
To put this context, Mike Pence had been threatened by an angry mob that killed five people, including a Capitol Police Officer, was chanting “Hang Mike Pence,” and had erected a gallows outside the Capitol presumably to do just that…
Attorney John Pierce was reportedly fired by Kyle Rittenhouse on Monday for unknown reasons. New information has surfaced from an account reportedly controlled by the Rittenhouse family which elevates the intrigue. According to the account, a Pierce led failed extradition fight ran up a tab of “well over $350,000.” A fight which some believe was misguided from the start.
Rudy Giuliani hired John Pierce’s law firm Pierce Bainbridge Beck Price & Hecht for his issues with Ukraine. The firm cratered months later under tens of millions in debt. All of Pierce’s partners quit and he was hired by Kyle Rittenhouse, when Giuliani was no longer a client. Pierce recently said Rudy remains a “close friend.” Last week was a particularly brutal week for both attorneys.
Monday. Kyle Rittenhouse fires John Pierce. The circumstances surrounding the termination remain a mystery; it was was announced by a Twitter account controlled by the Rittenhouse Family later in the week.
Pierce Bainbridge founder John Pierce published the pictured tweet, referring to himself in the third person, in response to his recent firing by 18-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse. Pierce’s claim of “ferocious loyalty” piqued our interest. We have taken a closer look and are reminded of a scene from The Wire on HBO.
Before deeper analysis of Pierce’s “loyalty” claim, it’s worth highlighting an excellent report recently published by Deneen Smith in the Kenosha News. According to Smith, the $2 million Rittenhouse bond was posted “using a cashier’s check from Pierce Bainbridge, Pierce’s law firm.” …
Kyle Rittenhouse reportedly terminated Attorney John M. Pierce on Monday. And just three days after Pierce was fired, the Kenosha Police Department essentially said Pierce lied under oath about communications with a “Kenosha Police Captain.” This is perhaps a fitting end to a relationship which commenced with Pierce dubiously claiming that he would “handle the Rittenhouse defense with a team of the best lawyers in the USA.” We are reminded of a former Pierce partner who opined that John Pierce “lies like he breathes.”
A reverse chronological look at certain issues since Pierce surfaced for Rittenhouse in late August is…
Update: While we are not aware of any indication that Kyle Rittenhouse is actually missing, a sworn affidavit filed by John Pierce says a Kenosha Police Captain said “I absolutely should not” put Rittenhouse’s correct address on the form. Pierce’s also stated “the best of my knowledge and recollection. . .I believe the Kenosha Police Captain. . .to have been Tim Schaal.” We are unaware of the Kenosha Police Department’s or Schaal’s version of the events.
Update II: The Kenosha Police Department has contradicted John Pierce’s sworn statement.
